Purpose

<p>The [INCF](http://www.incf.org/) has initiated a process to establish standards and guidelines in the field of [Large-Scale Modeling](http://www.incf.org/about/programs/modeling/projects/standards/standards-and-guidelines-for-large-scale-modeling). One of these standards is a declarative, XML-based language for describing spiking neuronal network models, called [NineML](http://nineml.incf.org). This repository is intended to contain tools and documents related to NineML.</p>
